Job Description
Summary:
The main function of a Researcher is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.
Job Responsibilities:
• Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications
• 8-10 years experience required
• Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to read some programming code
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Job Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates that are transitioning from a different field like market research or product management, or who have no experience with UX research methodologies such as interviews, concept testing, and usability testing will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain solid UX research experience, demonstrating strong qualitative skills and familiarity with core methodologies. They should possess mixed methods expertise, including survey design and analysis, and have experience in a highly technical space, preferably with exposure to B2B recruitment and product development. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, effective reporting and insight delivery, and flexibility to work remotely and manage time across different time zones are also essential.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of worker and meeting deadlines.

Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to support SharePoint end to end, which includes everything from the authoring Internet platform to SharePoint as a content management platform. They focus on managing content at scale as part of customers' workflows.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to working on a new area within SharePoint focused on the solution space of content management. There might be some AI work connected to this initiative.
